Healing Trees
Healing Trees is a sculptural public artwork located within the green heart of Stockland’s MPark precinct in Macquarie Park, exploring the connection between nature, wellbeing and community. Inspired by the healing qualities of native Australian flora, the intertwined vine-like forms create a symbolic “Healing DNA” that reflects the relationship between humanity and the natural environment. Developed in consultation with the Dharug Nation and Wallamattagal people, the work incorporates carefully selected indigenous plant species and invites moments of pause, reflection and reconnection within the landscape. Designed as a playful and restorative experience for all ages, Healing Trees draws on the calming presence of the nearby Lane Cove National Park to foster peace, harmony and collective wellbeing.
