Nook

With the support of Global Arts Projects the permanent public artwork commissioned by Mitchell, Murrindindi and Mansfield Shire Councils on Great Victorian Rail Trail.

A collective of 3 works standing between 3.5 - 1.8m high the stacked arrangements created using stainless steel internal support structures with spun carbon steel bowls finished in hand laid vitreous enamel stripes. Referencing domestic and industrial railway signage and metal kitchenware 'Nook' marks a new beginning and the start of the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Funded by the Victorian Government’s Regional Tourism Investment Fund 'Nook' installed in a series of works along the trail.
