RIBBON

GROCON CONSTRUCTION and ARKHEFIELD ARCHITECTS, 2016

480 Queen Street,

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

480 Queen Street is home to Australia's first elevated public park within an office building.  Hobbs Park is perched high above the street on Level 4.

The tenants of this vertical village enjoy a large range of facilities which include the food gallery where Ribbon is suspended from the roof.

Ribbon, is a lengthy 120 metres of mirrored stainless steel which is suspended from the roof and provides a striking backdrop to the tenants of the food gallery.

Ribbon is a collaboration between Grocon Construction, Arkhefield Architects and Mike Mooney of Stainless Aesthetics.
